A Quintessential Countryside

Beaufort & Blake have long embraced a countryside heritage, and this winter campaign focused on showcasing it. Working from the Brand Director’s initial brief, I developed this vision into a fully realised campaign across photography and video and carried it through to all visual touchpoints.

Production & Planning

  • Developed a comprehensive shot plan that outlined concepts for each setup whilst ensuring the product remained the focal point throughout

  • Conducted location recces with the Brand Director and selected a country house and grounds that showcased a typical countryside aesthetic with a variety of backdrops

  • Worked with the Brand Director to cast models that felt on brand and could bring the campaign to life

  • Booked and negotiated costs for location, photographer, hair & makeup artist, and model agencies

  • Coordinated team members throughout all stages of the planning process to ensure planned timelines were met

  • Post-shoot image coordination and selection of 5-star images with the Brand Director

  • Worked alongside the photographer to ensure photographs and video were aligned with the creative direction

  • Achieved detailed product close-ups to utilise as a conversion tool on the PDP

  • Ensured sufficient video assets were captured to support a range of placements

  • Managed efficient communication between team members and the photographer

Campaign Art Direction

  • Created comprehensive prop lists tailored to the requirements of each shot

  • Worked with other team members to source props

  • Managed prop budgets, ensuring all items were bought within budget

  • Styled props to enhance the narrative and composition of each shot

Prop Sourcing & Styling

Ecommerce Production & Art Direction

  • Booked and negotiated costs for location, photographer, hair & makeup artist, and model agencies

  • Coordinated team members throughout all stages of the planning process to ensure planned timelines were met

  • Worked closely with the photographer on the day to ensure we captured the imagery needed

  • Selected a range of images for all product pages, thinking about how the product looked to ensure it was a compelling selection of images to sell the product and increase conversion

  • Managed a team to retouch, upload product images and publish products online

  • Established a visual style that supported the creative concept and ensured consistency across all areas

  • Selected two complementary typefaces that worked together and referenced a heritage aesthetic

  • Designed homepages, online editorial lookbooks, in-store displays, and package inserts

  • Handed over style guides to junior team members to artwork and roll out across other digital touchpoints

Graphic Design

  • Designed a window display to represent the campaign by bringing the outside in

  • Worked with a small budget to source plants, preserved moss and dried flowers to mimic the countryside

  • Owned and managed a budget for all window display updates across the year and ensured this design came within budget

  • Installed the display, including all interior POS updates

Retail Window Display

  • Created a series of brand awareness billboard campaigns across South West London

  • Worked with JCDecaux to ensure the design was best optimised for engagement
